Ultrasonography during pregnancy (USG) is an important examination to monitor the growth and well-being of the baby. Ultrasonography is a harmless and painless diagnostic procedure that uses high-frequency ultrasound to produce an image. There are many studies that confirm that ultrasonography is not harmful to either the pregnant woman or her baby. Ultrasonography is the only method that gives insight into how the baby is doing during pregnancy.
The Women’s Health Center offers high-level ultrasonography examinations with a modern premium-class ultrasonography device Voluson E8, with which it is possible to obtain high-quality 2D and 3D images.
2D viewing shows the baby in a plane, while 3D shows it in three dimensions, or as a three-dimensional image.
