Performs gynecological examination, consultations on the most suitable method of contraception, care of pregnant women, taping, minimally invasive procedures, such as inserting a Word catheter. Currently, she continues to work actively in the hospital – both in obstetrics and gynecology, and is a lecturer at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Riga Stradins University.
Dr. Rācene regularly updates her knowledge at international congresses and courses, especially about pelvic floor problems.
Member of Latvian Association of Gynecologists and Obstetricians, International Association of Urogynecologists (IUGA).
In 2020, after graduating from residency at Riga Stradiņš University, she obtained a certificate in the specialty “Gynaecologist, obstetrician”
During her residency, she did an internship at the University of Pisa in the Center for Pelvic Floor Diseases, Italy, and also had an experience exchange in Estonia (Maternity Department of East Tallinn Central Hospital), Turkey (Antalya University Hospital).
In 2017, K-Taping® International Academy professional taping courses in gynecology and obstetrics.
