Removal of uterine cavity or cervical polyps is performed mechanically, with instruments, dilating the cervix, scraping the walls of the uterine cavity with curettes to obtain a sample of uterine cavity tissue (endometrium) for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes, to completely evacuate the contents of the uterine cavity. The obtained tissue material is sent to the laboratory for histological examination. Polyps are removed under intravenous analgesia.
